SANJOSE will build the Norvento Enerxía Factory Zero (neFO) in the As Gándaras Business Park in Lugo

Norvento Enerxía has awarded SANJOSE Constructora the construction works under the BREEAM Exceptional Certification for a new industrial plant for the manufacture of equipment for energy generation, management, and storage, as well as the offices inside. This new factory will be located in the As Gándaras Business Park in Lugo, near the CIne building, Norvento's headquarters, also built by SANJOSE.

This new facility, called “Norvento Enerxía Factory Zero (neFO)”, has been declared a Singular Business Project by the Xunta de Galicia and will be completely energy self-sufficient from renewable sources. neFO also has the support of the EU Innovation Fund in its 2023 edition, being the only project from a 100% Spanish company chosen in the category of manufacturing components for renewables with a focus on storage.

The new building, with a floor area of more than 20,000 square meters, is configured as a single rectangular block divided into several sub-areas-warehouses for industrial uses by type of production and offices.

neFO will manufacture a whole range of high added-value technological products for energy generation, management, and storage designed by Norvento TECHnPower, Norvento's technology brand, including the nED range of wind turbines, nBESS battery storage equipment, and nXL utility-scale and nGM C&I power electronics converters, which will enable the company to meet the technological demands of the energy sector.
