SANJOSE will Fully Transform Les Tres Xemeneies del Paral·lel in Barcelona

Conren Tramway has awarded SANJOSE Constructora the contract for the 3X Paral·lel project in Barcelona, a new office building comprising 12 above-ground floors, a roof, and 2 basement levels, located at the Tres Xemeneies intersection on Paral·lel. The project, which will be executed using BIM methodology, will be LEED Platinum certified.

This emblematic and iconic building, located in the heart of Barcelona’s theater and leisure district, in the Poble Sec neighborhood (Sants-Montjuïc), stands on the historic site of the energy company “La Canadenca.”

Its three chimneys, over three centuries old and 72 meters (236 feet) high, are heritage-listed and give their name to a project that will result in a total built area of 25,000 square meters (approx. 269,000 square feet).
