Ilanga Capital has awarded SANJOSE Constructora the construction works, carried out under the BIM methodology and LEED Gold Certification, for the 5-star Oakmond Marbella Wellness Clinic Resort, a longevity complex conceived as an integrated precision healthcare ecosystem in which medicine and the services associated with the most exclusive hospitality form the central axis of the experience.

With more than 40,000 square meters (430,556 sqf) of built surface, Oakmond Marbella Wellness Clinic Resort will feature 140 rooms, 28 private residences/villas, a spa, swimming pools, a gym and extensive areas dedicated to physical exercise, dining spaces, and a large 10,000-square-meter (107,639-square-foot) medical clinic that will combine early diagnosis, personalized preventive medicine, and a clinical intelligence system supported by data analysis tools to monitor patients’ health over time. Oakmond thus aims to develop its own category in which medicine forms the central axis of the experience, while hospitality acts as a support to promote more accurate diagnoses, greater treatment adherence, and longer-term patient follow-up.

It should be noted that this project involves the extension and comprehensive renovation of the Hotel Incosol, a pioneering clinical/hotel complex that revolutionized health and wellness tourism on the Costa del Sol and, since the 1970s, represented a sanctuary of luxury and exclusivity, with clients including Grace Kelly, Rainier of Monaco, Salvador Dalí, Michael Jackson, and Princess Diana of Wales. The new Oakmond Marbella Wellness Clinic Resort will preserve the original structure of the 11-story main building as a tribute to its history, although the project will entail a complete transformation of the space, including the demolition and extension of the two existing lateral wings and the renovation of all spaces and supporting services throughout the complex.
