SANJOSE will expand and refurbish the administrative centre of the vice-chancellors for the University of Oviedo

The University of Oviedo has awarded SANJOSE Constructora the expansion and refurbishment works of the office building of the vice-rectorships with the adaptation of the so-called Trade Union building in the Plaza de Riego.

In addition to the refurbishment work (including the complete renovation of the roofs of the two buildings), the construction of a building connecting the Trade Unions building with that of the administration of the Vice Rectors is included. The objective of the project is that to work as if the complex was a single building, and that the physical union does not alter the current constructions.

The works also include various energy improvements to make the building more efficient and the installation of an elevator and accessible ramps on each of the floors through the gaps in the facade.
