SAN JOSE prequalified for the design and construction of a 75 MW PV plant in Jordan for USD 180 million.

The Jordanian Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources through the Chairman of the Special Bidding Committee, Engineer Al-Farouq Hiyari, has announced that Grupo SANJOSE has prequalified for the EPC contract (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) of a 75 MW PV in Quweira with and estimated investment amounting to USD 180 million.
The plant, which is expected to be operational by end of 2014, considers a total built surface of 200,000 m² and the installation of 250,000 solar fixed mounting structures able to generate 130 GWh per year (due to its privileged location in an area of intense solar radiation) and will will be connected to the National Interconnected System.
